Girl student kills self at rented flat in Indore

A girl student preparing for IIT entrance in Indore committed suicide by hanging self in her rented flat. Police have registered a case under relevant sections and handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem.

A girl student preparing for IIT entrance in Indore committed suicide by hanging self in her rented flat at Kanchand Bagh area. According to Tukoganj police station, the 17-year-old girl from Harsood town had come to Indore about a month back and had rented the flat.

On Sunday morning, when her neighbours noticed her flat's main entrance closed, they peeked inside the flat and saw her hanging from a ceiling fan. They informed the Tukoganj police.

The exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was recovered from the spot. Police have registered a case under relevant sections and handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem.
