During her interaction, she told the industrialists that Madhya Pradesh with its industrial friendly policy and peaceful climate offers immense opportunity for investment in different sectors, an industry official accompanying the delegation said.

Mahindra and Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra told the minister that the group would be interested in low-cost housing projects in Pithampur on a public-private partnership (PPP) provided the government was able to give permissions in a time bound manner. He also urged the minister to reduce taxes on electric cars and said the company could think about setting up a manufacturing plant for its electric car Reva.
