A 12-year-old minor girl was gangraped by three men at gunpoint at Khudila village in Dholpur district, police said on Saturday.

Police took the minor victim to a hospital for medical examination and recorded her statement after a complaint was filed against three men.

Station house officer (SHO) of Raja Khera police Rewarmal Maurya said that police have taken the girl for a medical examination at a primary health centre after a complaint of rape was filed against three men from the village. The accused are absconding.

The crime took place late on Friday when the minor was abducted by three neighbours on a motorcycle while she was returning house after attending a wedding.

The men took her to an abandoned building and raped her.

When the girl didn’t return home, the family members started searching for her. One of the villagers told the family that he had seen three men on a motorcycle with the girl.

Her family reached the building and found the men raping her. On seeing the family members, the accused fled .

The family filed a complaint against the three — Mukesh Sharma, Dhanmanu Sharma, Vivek Sharma —under sections 384 and 376 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Police are yet to confirm the age of the accused.

The girl’s brother said the accused threatened to kill them if they approached the police. The girl’s family also seized the motorcycle of the accused.
