Essel infra bags Rs. 4,000 cr solar park project

The state government and Essel Infraprojects Limited signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday for setting up a solar power park with capacity of 5,000 Mw at the chief minister’s residence. The park will be a joint venture of the govt and Essel infra and will be developed in the next four years

The state government and Essel Infraprojects Limited signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday for setting up a solar power park with capacity of 5,000 Mw at the chief minister’s residence.

Approximately Rs. 4,000 crore will be invested in the project.

On behalf of the state government, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation managing director BK Dosi and Essel Infraprojects Limited chief executive officer Ashok Agarwal signed the memorandum. Also present was Essel Group chairman Subhash Chandra. According to the MoU, the state government and Essel Infra will set up a joint enterprise and park will be developed in the next four years.
