A 50-year-old driver was killed when his tractor-trolley allegedly rammed into a running passenger train in Hanumangarh district, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra Kumar, they said.
He was killed when his vehicle rammed into the passenger train on way from Suratgarh at an unmanned railway crossing of “9-Z” village in Hanumangarh district, SHO Sadar Rahul Yadav said.
The incident occurred at 10:30am, Yadav said adding that though there was no damage to the train, the tractor-trolley was blown into pieces.
Train routes were affected for about 30 minutes after which the damaged vehicle’s wreckage was removed, he said.
