“Move with a flow in alignment with your inner self, move however you feel free and happy,” Ankita started Tuesday on a positive note with a fun yoga routine.

Ankita Konwar’s fitness diaries are a marvel to watch. Ankita, wife of Milind Soman – TV personality, actor, model and fitness enthusiast, keeps sharing snippets from her workout diaries for her Instagram fans to follow. Ankita loves her workout routine – she hardly misses a day from connecting with her inner self through her fitness regime. With running, high intensity workouts, and most importantly yoga, Ankita believes in taking care of the mind and the body.

Ankita’s yoga diaries are a treat for sore eyes. She believes in going with the flow and in the power of movement in healing the sore points of the body. Ankita, on Tuesday, beat her own midweek blues and also brushed the blues away for us with a set of pictures of herself fresh from her morning yoga routine. This time, she worked out with an intense routine of Camatkarasana. In one of the pictures, Ankita can be seen balancing her body on one leg and one hand with her other hand stretched in front and the body in a backbend position. In the other picture, she can be seen balancing her body on top of her leg and hand with her other foot touching the knee and the other hand holding her head.

With the pictures, she also shared her fitness state of mind - “Surrender yourself to the self within. Yoga doesn’t just have to be particular asanas. Move with a flow in alignment with your inner self, move however you feel free and happy. That’s where you’ll find real joy. Camatkarasana or the wild thing is a true example of such a flow.”

Camatkarasana, also known as the Wild Thing, comes with multiple health benefits. It helps in strengthening the upper back and shoulders and stretching the chest, shoulders and throat. It also helps in opening the hips, hip flexors and energising the body and the mind.
