Free Britney: Britney Spears slams people 'who never showed up' for her
Britney Spears' conservatorship battle is a subject of practically every discussion, and while Britney has only recently started publicly speaking about it, she has now slammed the people 'who never showed up for' her during her difficult times. Britney, who has recently hired a new attorney to represent her in her conservatorship battle against father Jamie Spears and a team of attorneys, was only recently allowed by the court to hire someone to represent her and is now battling her conservatorship harder than ever, but she does have several things to say to those who never showed up for her during her dark days.
Britney took to her Instagram handle on Friday and shared her thoughts alongside an image of text that read, "Never forget who ignored you when you needed them and who helped you before you even had to ask."
In the caption of the post, she wrote, "There's nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support. There's nothing worse than that !!!!"
Britney further continued, "How dare the people you love the most say anything at all ... did they even put a hand out to even lift me up at the TIME !!!??? How dare you make it public that NOW you CARE ... did you put your hand out when I was drowning ????"
While Britney did not specifically name anybody, she shared that those she is talking about know who they are, concluding with, " ... and you actually have the nerve to say anything about my situation just to save face for yourself publicly !!! If you're gonna post something .... Please stop with the righteous approach when you're so far from righteous it's not even funny ..." She added several middle finger emojis too, telling her fans, "PS if you’re reading this today and you can relate …. I’m sorry because I know what it’s like … and I send you my love."+
It was a big week for Spears after her victory in court with Rosengart's approval. The change in representation came after her bombshell testimony last month in which she railed against her father Jamie Spears and the conservatorship that he has overseen since 2008.
