Give tacos a desi twist with this easy to make mouth-watering filling comprising of paneer and spices. If you are a non-vegetarian you can replace the paneer with some chicken and the result will be equally delicious. A special recipe straight from the kitchens of Shangri-La, this one will surely leave you asking for more.
Cut paneer into julienne. If you are making the non-veg version, cut boneless chicken into thin slices
Thinly slice the onions, tomatoes and capsicum. Slit the green chilies & cut ginger julienne.
Heat oil in medium pan, add the sliced onions and sauté them. Add capsicum, tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chat masala, garam masala, cumin powder, tomato puree, green chili and ginger.
Stir the mixture for 2 min, add paneer and cook well. Add green coriander, tomato puree and lemon juice.
Heat tacos in a tawa with a few drops of oil / ghee
Fold the bread in half moon shape fill with paneer / chicken mixture.
Garnishing:
Add avocado puree and garlic yogurt dip on the top. Garnish with coriander leaves.
