Police on Tuesday rescued a teenaged boy, who was kidnapped last week, from a village in neighbouring Barabanki district after killing two of his suspected kidnappers.

Mohit (16), son of a city-based businessman Purushottam Chandnani, was kidnapped from Aliganj area of the state capital on May 1.

A special task force team raided a house in Ganeshpur village in Barabanki and rescued Mohit after killing two alleged kidnappers, police said in Lucknow.

A search was on to nab the remaining kidnappers, they added.
