Fire breaks out in Byculla slum

A major fire broke out at Badlapur chawl at Byculla late on Tuesday.

Fire brigade officials said the blaze started at godowns and slums along Megharaj Shetty Marg at 10.20pm. Fourteen fire engines, 9 water tankers and two ambulances were rushed to the spot.
