A speeding car crashed into an electronic toilet placed on the side of the busy Palm Beach Road in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and flipped over on Tuesday. The three people inside the car, including the driver, escaped unhurt.

“The car was going towards Belapur from Vashi. As it was crossing sector 17 in Vashi, the driver lost control and crashed into the e-toilet. The car crashed and toppled on the road, but none of the passengers were injured,” said a police officer from Vashi police station, who did not wish to be named.

It took traffic officials and several local residents a while to remove the car from the road. However, as the car did not block all the lanes, traffic movement was relatively unaffected. “One part of the road was still open after the accident, so traffic was not affected because of the accident,” the officer said.
