Trains got stuck between Ambivli and Shahad stations, said commuters, complaining that no announcements were made at the stations to inform commuters about the delay.

“At least two to three local trains were stuck, so many of us got down from the trains and walked to the nearest station,” said Keshav Mhatre, 45, a commuter from Titwala.

“The disruption occurred at around 1.10 pm. Railway officials detected some object on the overhead wire, which then had to be removed. This disrupted services for 20-25 minutes. Around 1.30pm, we resumed services,” said AK Jain, senior public relations officer, CR.
