MUMBAI: The high speed, swanky nine-coach trains from Spanish train manufacture Talgo will reach Mumbai on Tuesday. The white trainset with purple stripes left Delhi on Monday evening. It will cover the distance of about 1400km and reach Mumbai Central station around 10am.

Western Railway sources said the train have been given halts at the same stations where Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani stops. The train is undergoing three phase speed and other related trials since last May. The Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani express run at the highest speed of 130kmph. “Talgo train will be tested at variable speed between 130-150kmph,”said Ravinder Bhakar.
