5 held for using fake documents

Five people were arrested for forging legal documents needed for bail bonds at various courts. The accused were recently arrested by the Thane nagar police, near the Thane sessions court. The masterminds of the forgery plan, however, are absconding.

Five people were arrested for forging legal documents needed for bail bonds at various courts. The accused were recently arrested by the Thane nagar police, near the Thane sessions court. The masterminds of the forgery plan, however, are absconding.

The arrested accused are Nalasopara resident Santosh Shinde, 36, Jintendra Singh, 35, from Ulhasnagar, Laxman Jaiswani, 46, from Wagle Estate amd Mumbra resident Akbar Salfi alias Akbar Vakil, 41.

“They have helped bail out 15-20 accused over the past six months,” said senior police inspector Nilesh Raut.
