8 injured as bus crashes into flyover

Forty passengers of a private bus escaped a major tragedy when the bus they were travelling in met with an accident and fell on its side at CBD Belapur on Sion Panvel Highway on Saturday.
Eight persons have been injured in the incident. The police have arrested the bus driver, Vijay Talwad, 38.
The incident occurred at around 3am on Friday night. According to the CBD police, the driver of Neeta Volvo Travels bus lost control and hit the flyover wall while ascending it. The bus then fell on its side. The bus was heading from Pune towards Mumbai.
The injured have been admitted to MGM hospital in Vashi.
