Aditya Thackeray files case against Nitesh Rane

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s grandson Aditya, on Wednesday, lodged a non-cognisable (NC) complaint against Nitesh Rane — the son of state minister and former Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane, for allegedly overtaking Aditya’s convoy while it was passing from near Worli Naka. HT reports.

Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s grandson Aditya, on Wednesday, lodged a non-cognisable (NC) complaint against Nitesh Rane — the son of state minister and former Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane, for allegedly overtaking Aditya’s convoy while it was passing from near Worli Naka.

“We have registered an NC,” said Vasant Tajne, senior police inspector, Worli. Police said that when Nitesh’s convoy sped past Aditya’s convoy, their security guards started arguing.

Later, Shiv Sena supporters gathered outside the Worli police station, demanding that strict action be taken against Nitesh.
