Bhojpuri Actor, friend granted bail

Television and Bhojpuri film actor Raja Chaudhary and his actor-friend Shraddha Sharma were granted bail by a local court on Saturday on a bond of Rs 4,000 each.

Chaudhary and Sharma were arrested on Friday night for allegedly causing nuisance by fighting in a public area in Oshiwara.

Chaudhary, allegedly in an inebriated state, had gone to Sharma’s flat in a housing society at Oshiwara, where the duo got into a fight. Chaudhary assaulted Sharma following which she was admitted in hospital.

Chaudhary was earlier detained by police for allegedly creating a scene outside the house of his estranged wife and television actress Shweta Tiwari.

Last month he was fined for drunken driving.
