A doctor deposed in the Special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court, on Tuesday, which is conducting the trial in the July 2006 train blasts.

"The doctor operated on those injured in the train blasts and had removed pieces of metal from their body," said special public prosecutor Raja Thackare.

The examination of witnesses resumed after the span of two years as the Supreme court had stayed the trial in 2008.
