The revised policy demands the written consent of all top-floor residents and 70% occupants of a building within three months of the policy coming into effect and every year thereafter. Also, only one tower will be allowed on a building.
The formation of a public grievance committee is another important aspect. “The panel will include officers from TERM cell, state, BMC, telecom companies, and also elected representatives,” said an official. The revised policy will be soon submitted to the standing committee’s approval.
