Khan allegedly sold, for Rs 15,000 each, bottles of medicine, which he claimed would cure the diseases. He has now said he is innocent, and was falsely implicated. Khan said one Wajid, who had filed a complaint against him, would call and harass him, and tried extorting money from him. Munir’s son Mushir, in his application, said Munir had a license from the Rajasthan government to make medicines.

Mahesh Vaswani, who represents actress Tabassum, who had hosted television advertisements for Munir, said they would oppose Munir’s application, as he had also cheated her.
