Bus driver held for crushing man
The JJ Marg police on Saturday arrested a 48-year-old BEST bus driver for allegedly driving rashly and running over a Dongri mutton shop owner, killing him on the spot.

The JJ Marg police on Saturday arrested a 48-year-old BEST bus driver for allegedly driving rashly and running over a Dongri mutton shop owner, killing him on the spot.
“The accident took place at 5pm at the Null Bazaar area in Dongri. The bus driver has been arrested,” said an officer from JJ Marg police station, on condition of anonymity because he is not authorised to talk to the media.
Passersby rushed Zubair Adam to nearby JJ hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
The police have booked the BEST bus driver, Baccharam Nana Sawant, on charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
