Dadar station flyover to be shut for 2 days, resurfaced

The civic body has now decided not to fill potholes, but to resurface it. The work of scraping and resurfacing will start on August 13, and take at least two days.

However, for this period, the flyover will be closed to traffic, adding to commuters’ woes. “To resurface this flyover we need to close the traffic,” said Aseem Gupta, additional municipal commisioner.

Exactly a month before, on July 13, activists of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, led by Raj Thackeray, tried to beat-up contractor SV Jiwani, responsible for the maintenance of the flyover.
