Dead model’s boyfriend in judicial custody
Sahil Malik, 28, who was arrested on October 30 in connection with the murder of his former girlfriend and model Rinky Chowdhury, 28, was on Wednesday produced in the court and remanded in judicial custody.

“We had his custody for 10 days but he has still not admitted to the crime. He was produced in the court today as his custody with us was only till November 10 and he has been remanded in judicial custody,” said Surendra Paithankar, senior inspector of Goregaon police station.
Malik still says that Chowdhury committed suicide.
The police have not been able to trace Shivendu Shekhar, who apparently was the last person to meet both Chowdhury and Malik before the incident.
On October 28, Chowdhury was found dead in her flat. After medical reports suggested that she was murdered, Malik was arrested.
