Guerrero Lugo Elvia Grissel, 24, Campos Molan Elias, 39, Gonzalez Maldonado Mauricio, 24, – Mexicans – and Gutierez Orlando – Venezuelan – were detained by the Dubai police on an Interpol alert and were arrested on August 23.
The court on September 21 rejected their bail plea observing there was evidence against them. In the bail application, the accused said the crime branch had falsely implicated them. “In the charge sheet there is no statement of Dubai officials who detained them,” said their lawyer Abdul Wahab Khan. The investigation is complete, Khan added.
The plea is likely to come up for hearing on Saturday.
