“Our endeavour is to pursue a policy of inclusive education,” said Deepshikha Srivastava, the school’s principal. “We want to teach children in a way that they can learn.”

The centre has a full-time counselor, two special educators as well as a yoga teacher. “Our eventual aim is to conduct in-house training for all our teachers to teach children with learning disabilities,” said Srivastava. The centre will also focus on teaching yoga and music therapy, and will function both during and after school hours.
