‘Men behind ration scam close to Maharashtra politicians’

Persons who run two companies indicted by the commissioners appointed by the Supreme Court to probe the Integrated Child Development Scheme scam in Maharashtra are close to top politicians in the state.

Persons who run two companies indicted by the commissioners appointed by the Supreme Court to probe the Integrated Child Development Scheme scam in Maharashtra are close to top politicians in the state.

Vivek Jadhav, director of Indo-Allied Protein Food Private Limited, is known to be close to several top politicians, including a former Congress chief minister.

Jadhav could not be contacted for comment despite repeated attempts.

The other firm, Paras Food, based in Nagpur, is owned by the Pagaria family, whose members are reportedly close to the brother-in-law of a Congress leader from Nagpur and to a senior BJP leader’s brother-in-law whose name figured in a tribal welfare food scam.
