MUMBAI: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) stormed into the office of Central Railway general manager SK Sood, protesting against the frequent breakdown of rail services.

Led by former legislator Shishir Shinde, the MNS warned of intensifying the agitation if things do not improve.

“Commuters are facing the brunt of an erratic railway services. Their entire schedule gets disturbed, but the railways does not seem to be bothered,” said Shinde.

“Things will go out of hand if the railways continue to ignore the issue,” he said.

Around 300 MNS workers joined the agitation at CST station.

Shinde also took potshots at railway minister Suresh Prabhu saying he has let down the city commuters.

“We expected the railway minister to bring some relief, but unfortunately he failed in his mission,” he said.

Sood assured t hat he would iron out the problems.
