He was allegedly refused permission to go to his village in Bihar.

According to the Oshiwara police, the incident took place around 2.30 pm on Sunday.

The deceased, identified as Arun Mukhi (21), wanted permission from his employers to visit his village to look for a prospective bride.

“On Sunday Mukhi asked his employers whether he could leave for his village but the family asked him to go some other day as they had invited guests,” said a police official from Oshiwara police station.

“This frustrated Mukhi who jumped out the window of the residence of his employers,” he added.
