State to buy 695 ambulances
Intending to provide medical assistance within an hour to needy persons in rural areas, the state government is going to buy 695 ambulances connecting all the public and private hospitals in the state.

Intending to provide medical assistance within an hour to needy persons in rural areas, the state government is going to buy 695 ambulances connecting all the public and private hospitals in the state.
Some of them will be equipped with advanced life support facilities for cardiac patients or accident victims.
The expected budget for a single well-equipped ambulance is Rs 25-30 lakh. Maintenance cost will be up to Rs 1.25 lakh per month.
