Transport Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil instructed the Transport Commissioner to take “serious” action against the drivers who went on strike causing inconvenience to the common man.
“I have instructed to the suspend licences of drivers who participated in the strike troubling commuters during office hours. Even the union leaders would face legal action,” Vikhe-Patil said on Wednesday. The Transport Commissioner is expected to gather data in a day and submit it to the Transport Minister for suspending the licences.
