In the national convention on road safety and transport sector, organised by All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) at Powai, the state transport commissioner V More said, “The training will be rigorous and sophisticated.”
The All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC), an apex body of road
transporters, along with government officials and heavy vehicle manufacturers organised a committee to address several issues faced by transporters.
Bal Malkit Singh, president, AIMTC said, “In order to overcome the acute shortage of good drivers for new and sophisticated heavy vehicles, our body along with vehicle manufacturers will try and attract young drivers to join our transport business.”
