The civic general body on Tuesday cleared a notice of motion raised by Congress corporator Vinod Shekhar to create a zero hour in the house on the lines of Parliament and the Rajya Sabha.

In the zero hour, matters of utmost importance are raised even without they being on the agenda of the meeting for that day.

The proposal will now go to the municipal commissioner and once he clears it, it will go to the state for approval. HTC
