PURNIA: A complaint was filed on Thursday in the court of a chief judicial magistrate against Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and top officials of a nonbanking finance company, Prayag Group, for allegedly duping investors. Khan was the company’s brand ambassador. A resident of Purnia district, Abdul Gaffar, said, “Poor investors deposited their money after being lured by the star. At the time of maturity, the branches of the group were closed.”
