Yamuna Expressway authority launches flat and plot schemes

There are a total of 159 industrial plots and 106 institutional plots in this scheme while 200 flats are on offer.

The Yamuna Expressway industrial development authority (YEIDA) launched flat and plot schemes on Wednesday. The plots are in industrial and institutional categories while 200 flats are on offer that could not be sold earlier.

“From June 5, interested applicants can buy forms for our plot and flat schemes from all leading banks in Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi. The last date to submit filled up forms is June 30 for industrial and institutional schemes,” said Arun Vir Singh, chief executive officer (CEO) of YEIDA.

Institutional plots are located in Sector 22E and industrial plots are in Sector 33, officials said.

Sector 22E is located 3 km from Budh International Circuit (BIC) and Sector 33 is near Jewar, where an international airport project is proposed, officials said.

According to officials, there are a total of 159 industrial plots and 106 institutional plots in this scheme. The industrial plots are between the range of 300 sqm and 1,800 sqm. The institutional plots are in the range of 500 sqm to 40 acres.

The authority hopes that industrialists, corporate houses, educational institutions and healthcare players, among others, may opt for plots under this scheme.

“One of the biggest attractions of this scheme will be the (Jewar) airport proposed in this area. If the airport project is finally approved and developed, then it will provide world-class connectivity. We hope we receive a good response from investors for our two schemes,” the CEO said.

Officials said the flats on offer are those that were not sold under previous schemes.

“There are around 200 flats, which we could not sell in schemes launched earlier. We are about to complete construction of these flats. These are flats of sizes 300 sqft, 550 sqft and 900 sqft. All details are available in our brochure. Flats will be allotted through a lucky draw,” said RK Singh, additional chief executive officer (ACEO) of YEIDA.

These flats are located in Sector 22D along the 165 km Yamuna Expressway.

“We hope that the construction of these flats will be completed in the next five months. We are building drains, roads and other basic amenities in Sector 22D,” the ACEO said.
