The India A team convincingly won the men's title in the Asian team chess championship with a 4-0 win over Sri Lanka, in the seventh and final round, reports HT Correspondent.
The India A team convincingly won the men's title in the Asian team chess championship with a 4-0 win over Sri Lanka, in the seventh and final round on Monday. Vietnam beat Iran to the silver medal on better tie-break score. India finished with 14 points, while Vietnam and Iran logged 11 each.

In the women's section, overnight leaders, Vietnam crushed tail-enders Nepal 4-0 to total 11 points and get the gold. India, who had got a bye in the final round, ended on 10 points to take the silver. Vietnam won the bronze in the women's section.
