"We have sought financial assistance of Rs 1,000 crore for providing diesel subsidy and agricultural input subsidy to farmers, but the Centre has not yet responded to it," Kumari told reporters here. "The Centre must come forward to help the state to tackle the drought. All the 38 districts in Bihar have been declared drought-hit," the minister said. She said the state government was firm on reaching relief to the drought-hit people in the state through its own resources.
