“JD(U), BJP, RJD and LJP are involved in firming up a communal, casteist and opportunistic political alliance. But these parties can never match the Congress,” state Congress chief Anil Kumar Sharma told reporters in Patna.

He said results of the bypolls to 18 Assembly seats reflected that people have reposed their faith in the party while rejecting others.

Reiterating that his party would go alone in the next Aassembly elections in Bihar, he accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of trying to ‘mislead people for mere politics of votes´.
