Undertrial prisoner shot in Bihar court

An undertrial prisioner was on Monday injured after being shot inside a court in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district.
The prisoner was brought for a hearing in a case, police said.
"Some unidentified men shot and seriously injured an undertrial prisoner in the civil court in Muzaffarpur when he was brought to be produced in a case," a district police officer said.
The injured prisoner was admitted in a government hospital for treatment.
"Police have began an investigation into the incident," the officer said.
