The body of a middle aged man, with stab wounds, was found in a coach of the Gorakhpur-kaptanganj passenger train on Saturday morning.
The body was identified as Rabindra Singh a resident of Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh. Police also recovered Adhar card, cell phone and ₹1000 cash from his possession. (HT Photo)

The body was taken out of the coach. The train continued its journey till Kaptanganj where a thorough examination of the coach was carried out.
Police said closed circuit televisions along the route were being examined. Old enmity was believed to be the motive behind the killing. A case had been lodged against unidentified miscreants with the Siwan GRP in this connection.
