Bollywood report card: Do they or don't they have college degrees?

As the new DU session starts, we run you through the courses that Bollywood biggies opted for, in college Deepika Padukone: She attended Sophia High School in Bangalore, and completed her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore itself. In 2005 she enrolled with the Indira Gandhi National Open University for a Bachelors of Arts course in Sociology with economics as a subsidiary subject, but she never completed it.

Shah Rukh Khan: In 1985, SRK enrolled in Hansraj College, Delhi University and completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He studied acting under theatre director Barry John as part of Theatre Action Group (TAG). He also enrolled in a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, but did not complete it. Interestingly, he has also attended the National School of Drama during his early acting days.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Ash went to Jai Hind College for a year. She switched to Raheja College to study Architecture, but left it midway to pursue a career in modeling. Earlier, she studied at Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai.
