Rescue teams evacuate people from flood affected areas, to relief camps at Kottayam district in Kerala. According to figures released by the state government, more than 700,000 people were taken to 5,645 relief camps. Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the rescue operation has reached its last leg and will be completed by Monday evening and that top priority will be given to restoring normalcy in crippled areas.
