Photos: India’s Covid-19 case tally crosses 6 million

India crossed six million coronavirus cases on September 27 and continues to close in on the United States as the most-infected nation, as authorities press ahead with reigniting the economy. The country has for several weeks reported around 90,000 new cases daily -- the highest in the world. Over 95,000 people in India have died from the disease so far.
