Microgreens are a superfood that is packed with nutrients. They are very similar to sprouts and can be easily grown at home. They take around a week to grow and survive all year long. They like a bright sunny spot so make sure you keep them near your kitchen window, on your balcony or corridor with proper lighting. They are usually harvested 7–21 days after germination. Several studies suggest that nutrient levels in microgreens can be up to nine times higher than those found in mature greens. You can toss them in a salad or just sprinkle some on top of your pasta, grilled meat or fish or mix them into your scrambled eggs or omelettes.(Unsplash)
