Photos: Fire from an unknown source engulfs Oregon town

A fire termed Almeda has engulfed nearly hundred homes in Talent Mobile Estates of Oregon city in the US. The fire is said to have started in Ashland, south of Talent on the morning of September 8, after which it was fueled by strong winds and spread its damaging flames up to 13 miles (20 kilometers) north. In all, the fire has burned 3,200 acres of land and killed three people and according to the fire department’s estimate 42,000 people have been affected which includes those whose homes were damaged and others who had been evacuated or left without power. The White House declared the Almeda Fire a "major disaster" on September 15 and authorized a federal aid for reconstruction of what was consumed by the fire.
