Photos: The best of Tour De France 2018 so far

The 2018 edition of the world’s foremost cycling event, the Tour de France has racers from across the world peddling away in full swing. Spread across the French landscape, from the Alps to the grasslands and into its cities, its 21 gruelling stages cover a distance of 3,351 kilometres and even briefly touch into neighbouring Spain --all en route to the Champs-Elysees in Paris. This year’s race began on July 7 and nearly two thirds through at the moment, is expected to see riders in the capital on Sunday, July 29. Here’s the best in images so far!
