9-yr-old’s death prompts PCMC to suspend junior engineer for negligence

The negligence by the department of PCMC had led to a death of nine-year-old Hariom Naral, a resident of Nigdi, after suffering electric shock from an electric pole.

Negligence by Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation(PCMC) electrical department has resulted in a suspension of a junior engineer of the department.

The negligence by the department of PCMC had led to a death of nine-year-old Hariom Naral, a resident of Nigdi, after suffering electric shock from an electric pole.

Following the incident, Shravan Hardikar, commissioner, PCMC had suspended the area junior engineer for negligence.

Officials from PCMC said, “On June 26, nine-year-old Hariom Naral, a resident of Nigdi was playing near his house where he died due to a shock from an electric pole. The concerned junior engineer, Bapusaheb Rokade was in-charge of that ward. Following this serious incident, the engineer was suspended.”
