SPPU re-evaluation process goes online in order to make it more efficient and easier

Students are now required to submit the re-evaluation application through the official website of the varsity. The payment as well, will have to be made online.

In order to help save time on re-evaluating answer sheets, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided to introduce the service online. According to varsity officials, on Monday, Nitin Karmalkar, vice-chancellor, SPPU decided to introduce an online portal for students seeking to re-evaluate their answer papers.

“Every year, around 6.6 lakh students give the exams, out of which almost a thousand apply for re-evaluation. The process ends up becoming extremely tedious and time consuming. We wanted make this process more efficient introducing it online,” said Karmalkar, vice-chancellor, SPPU.

“All the students who had appeared for the March-April 2018 examinations can apply for re-evaluation online. This can be done through the official website http://www.unipune.ac.in/,” said Ashok Chavan, director of examination department, SPPU.
