3 arrested for stealing judge’s vehicle, robbery

Local police on Tuesday claimed to have solved the case of theft of a Chandigarh-based judge’s sports utility vehicle (SUV) with the arrest of three persons, who later also allegedly robbed a conductor at Sector 4 roundabout on July 25 morning.

Local police on Tuesday claimed to have solved the case of theft of a Chandigarh-based judge’s sports utility vehicle (SUV) with the arrest of three persons, who later also allegedly robbed a conductor at Sector 4 roundabout on July 25 morning.

The accused have been identified as Sanjay Khosla, a resident of Zirakpur; Daljit Kaur, a resident of Zirakpur; and Aaysha, a resident of Sector 45 of Chandigarh. They were produced in the court on Tuesday from where they were sent to five-day police custody.

The police had recently arrested them for snatching incidents and during investigation found that they had committed robberies also.
