Singla also demanded that the website of transport department immediately upload detailed information about permits issued to private buses and alleged that private transporters were given undue benefits at the cost of Punjab Roadways.

Singla alleged that the transport policy of the state favours private players.

"Six routes on which Punjab Roadways stopped bus service have been allocated to Orbit Aviation owned by deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal," SIngla said in a statement.
