While the Centre has reduced prices of diesel and petrol, the state government has hiked VAT on these two items, said Thakur. He alleged the state government has failed in controlling its extravaganza and lavish expenses and has been putting financial burden on common people. He informed that the BJYM will start cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Kullu on November 17.
